Ileana not in mega film!

W e had earlier reported that Ileana will be playing the lead opposite Pawan Kalyan in director Trivikram Srinivas’s next film.

However, we now hear that the Nanban actress has opted out of it, and that Samantha has been approached to step into her shoes.

A couple of months ago, Ileana’s spokesperson confirmed that she will begin work on the Pawan Kalyan film with Trivikram from August. Even as rumours started making the rounds that the actress is quitting Tollywood, where she has a good market, to concentrate on Bollywood, her PR machinery trashed them, saying Ileana is definitely doing the Pawan Kalyan film.

But now, her spokesperson confirms, “Ileana has opted out of Trivikram’s next with Pawan because of date issues. But, she is listening to scripts in Tollywood. She will also be doing Rajkumar Santoshi’s next with Shahid Kapoor in Bollywood.”

While it’s being rumoured that Samantha will now replace Ileana, both the actress and her spokesperson remained unavailable for comments.
